Augendec proposed using existing poles (he counted 26 between the bridge and the route turn to Redwood Shores) to post simplified safety messages and to reduce other, less essential information on those signs. He said the expense would be small if existing poles are used and that the change would improve safety for trail users.
The council acknowledged receipt of Augendec’s photos and materials; no formal action was taken at the meeting.
