Corinth council approves $3.3 million impact-fee reimbursement and $400,000 city contribution for wastewater project

He also said the city would contribute $400,000 in cash toward needed westside lift station improvements including odor control, pump controls and air conditioning; Barker noted those repairs are already planned in the CIP.
Council members questioned the project's service area and how reimbursements relate to commitments by a neighboring Long Lake development. Staff said the lift station would serve the Canyon Lake Ranch parcels (green, blue and orange areas on the presentation) but would not support other Long Lake parcels. Council members raised that Long Lake had defaulted on prior improvement obligations; one member requested that, if the city proceeds with reimbursement to the Enclave developer, the developer assign any causes of action the developer holds against Long Lake to the city so the city may pursue collection.
