The Livonia Public Schools Board adopted resolutions honoring 21 employees who are retiring this year. Administration reported the group accounts for 588.7 combined years of service to the district.
Trustees and Superintendent Oakquist thanked the retirees for their long service, noting roles that included teachers, paraprofessionals, secretaries and an administrator. The board moved to adopt attached resolutions of appreciation (motion by Mrs. Acosta, supported by Mrs. Bradford) and the motion passed unanimously. Trustees highlighted several individuals and recalled the impact of long-term staff on students and families.
