A board member thanked the YMCA for providing alternate gym space for Central Elementary students while repairs are arranged.
Other approvals included out-of-state and overnight field trips for students attending the National Academic Games (April 23–28, 2026) and a PMEA all-state festival performance (April 21–24, 2026); budget transfers as of March 23, 2026; and ratification of an MOU with the Franklin Area Education Association changing extracurricular position titles (retroactive for Amanda Lewis). Several items were approved by voice vote; the transcript records motions and voice approvals for the consent groupings.
Most consent items were approved without extended discussion. Where dollar amounts or specific line items were read into the record, the clerk corrected a typographical error in the check-number range (78521 was corrected from a transcribed 787521).
