The Muskego City finance committee approved a package of routine licenses, property and utility actions and payment authorizations at its March 24 meeting.
Licenses and property: The committee approved a full-service retail license for Eagle Trace Brewing Company LLC d/b/a Eagle Park Brewing to serve at Jam in the Park at Veterans Memorial on June 5, 2026, from 3:00 to 11:00 p.m. The committee also approved a quit claim deed transferring a roughly 60-foot strip of city-owned land along the former Martin Drive alignment to the Bosi family trust; staff said the vesting clarifies access that had been informally used as the family’s primary driveway while the adjacent pond remains city-owned and the family assumes future maintenance and plowing responsibility.
Easement and HR engagement: The committee approved a distribution easement granting Wisconsin Electric Power Company (d/b/a We Energies) and Spectrum Mid-America LLC access for underground electric and communications infrastructure, similar to an easement previously approved. The committee also approved an engagement letter with Stratford Rosenbomb LLP to conduct an HR investigation; staff presented the engagement letter and the committee approved it on a voice vote.
Vouchers and wire transfers: Members approved utility vouchers (transcript: $51,983.43), general fund vouchers (transcript: $25,826.56), a wire transfer for debt service (transcript: $132,620 as spoken) and a wire transfer for payroll and invoice transmittals (transcript: $440,695.49 as spoken). Each payment authorization was moved, seconded and approved on voice votes.
Administrative notes: Staff confirmed the meeting notices had been published and reposted in accordance with open meeting law. With no finance director's report the committee moved to adjourn and ended the meeting at about 6:05 p.m.
