The Town of Clinton Planning Board voted to set a public hearing on an accessory dwelling unit application for Four Old Bulls Head Farm for April 7.
John Paul Avitel, who introduced himself as the property owner, told the board he is available on April 7 and the board agreed to schedule the hearing and to send required neighbor notices for the ADU application. "Hi, I'm John Paul Avitel, owner of four old Bulls Head Farm on Old Bulls Head Road," Avitel said when he came forward to introduce the request.
Board members said notices that were mailed previously covered the variance but not the ADU; staff and the applicant agreed to circulate the ADU notices and revisit the full application at the April hearing. The motion to set the hearing was made and carried without opposition. The applicant is expected to appear on April 7 for a fuller presentation and public comment.
The board did not vote on the ADU itself; the hearing notice will provide the formal agenda and materials for neighbor review.
