For winter-storm-related disaster work the district selected its highest-scoring architecture/engineering firm (TBA) to serve as architect/engineer of record to support FEMA reimbursement work.
Bid awards: The board approved lowest-responsive-bid awards reported by staff, including a Jack Hayes canopy (Ryan Watson Construction, $55,000), West Wash High roof replacement (Grizzly Roofing, $418,475), Corolli Elementary roof replacement (Baron Services, $316,982), and sensory-playground surfacing (Ideal Construction, ~ $318,600). Staff said several bids came in under budget.
Donation to Sheriff's Office: Jerry Peterson presented a cooperative endeavor agreement to donate two district buses that were being retired to the Parish Sheriff's Office for training exercises; the board approved the donation.
