Commission forwards amended Citrus Oleander development agreement to City Council

On April 21 the Planning Commission reviewed and recommended approval of amended and reinstated development agreements (AGRs) for the Citrus Oleander Industrial Commercial Center, updating ownership, public-benefit fee allocations, and timing for execution and fee payment.
Planning manager Ditania Johnson summarized the amendments: identify new ownership for the three previously approved sites, update public benefit fee amounts based on adjusted building square footage, and clarify timing for recordation, execution and payment of fees. The commission heard that Project Sites 1 and 2 are under North Palisade Partners' control and Project Site 3 remains with Acacia, with the east and west sites totaling approximately 400,000 and 88,000 square feet respectively as described by applicant representative Jonathan Charlow.
Jonathan Charlow said both applicants agreed to the terms in the revised agreements. With no public speakers, Secretary Lozano moved to approve Master Case 203100 and recommend the amended and reinstated development agreements to City Council; Commissioner Kietle seconded and the commission recorded 'All in favor; motion passes.' The matter is now set to be forwarded to the City Council for final action per the recommendations in the staff report.
