Taylor City Council adopts 2026–27 budget, sets 24.8402 mill tax levy

The council then voted to adopt the proposed ad valorem tax levy of 24.8402 mills and authorized the City Clerk to certify the mileages for spread by the Assessor against taxable valuation so tax bills may be prepared and collected by the Treasurer.
