During its meeting the Loudon County Regional Planning Commission processed a series of routine rezoning, variance and permit requests. Most items were presented briefly by applicants or their representatives and approved by voice vote as part of regular business.
Examples: a four‑lot subdivision at 3401 Waller Ferry Road (item A) was approved; single‑lot rezones and small-scale variances (items C, E, G, H, I, J, K, L, M and others) were approved after brief presentations. At least one variance request involving a shared driveway and a land-swap proposal was tabled after an affected neighbor asked for additional information and the applicant agreed to postpone action until the next meeting.
Other business included approval of minutes, brief department updates and a motion to add discussion of bylaws/policies to a future meeting. The commission adjourned after completing the agenda and briefly convened the Loudon County Board of Zoning Appeals.
