Lindsay Lineman of Internal Services told council the Liquor Division certified the application as complete but the local fire department had outstanding concerns about the location. Lineman said the town would mark the license as "approved, not issued" until fire-department conditions are resolved and staff would issue the license after receiving certification from the department.
Councilor Beeman moved to approve the application, citing Wyoming Statute 12-4-104(b) statutory factors, with two specific conditions: that the clerk’s office not issue the license until all required town licenses and permits have been obtained, and that staff be allowed to make any additional minor corrections deemed necessary. Councilor Regan seconded the motion; the council voted unanimously to approve the motion.
The council did not issue the license that evening because local conditions remain outstanding; staff will issue the license once the town clerk confirms all conditions are met.
