Maple Valley council approves consent calendar including new Human Services Manager position and Community Engagement Commission

The consent calendar also authorized Resolution R-25-2021 (a Public Works on-call vendor agreement with Drain-Pro, Inc.), Resolution R-25-2031 (a Parks Property Tax Levy Agreement with King County), Resolution R-25-2032 (Amendment No. 5 to the Parametrix Inc. professional services agreement for the S-17 Cedar Downs Water Quality Retrofits Project) and Resolution R-25-2033 (Amendment 3 to the MIG professional services agreement for three permanent message boards for the F-07 project).
Councilmember Didem Pierson moved to approve the consent calendar; Councilmember Syd Dawson seconded. The motion carried, 7-0. Minutes do not record additional debate or public testimony on these consent items.
Staff will implement the personnel changes and execute the contracts and amendments authorized by the resolutions as recorded in the council minutes.
