Trustees also approved a contract through the district’s vendor pool with 1 Workplace to procure furniture, fixtures and equipment for the Alcorn Village modernization project. Facilities staff said procurement will use piggyback and CMAS options as appropriate and that the purchase will be paid from Measure Z funds.
Trustees expressed appreciation for the project timeline and early move‑in date for Alcorn Village and noted the importance of continued coordination between facilities and food services for site planning. Both items were approved by unanimous voice vote.
