Staff reported the fiscal impact as "a little over $210,000," to be paid from Expanded Learning funds, and confirmed enrollment will be limited to Washington Unified students for this summer due to transportation constraints.
Trustees voted unanimously to approve the service agreement. A trustee said the program is a strong literacy intervention and welcomed follow‑up information about enrollment details and program outcomes.
