“I would make the motion to approve the budget amendment as noted in the board packet,” the Chair said when moving the FY26 amendment, which the board discussed and approved. The amendment summary in the packet cited a general-fund revenue increase of $237,759 and an increase in expenditures of $1,240,000 tied to grant adjustments and capital project timing.
The board also approved multiple procurement awards listed in the packet: - RFP 847: Adams Campus welders and fabrication table equipment to support program expansion tied to a capital project (approved). - RFP 848: Adams Campus autoclave and incubator equipment (corrected resolution wording; approved). - RFP 849: Wisconsin Rapids food service vendor; the vendor will operate campus food service at no net cost to the college and recover revenues through cafeteria operations (approved). - RFP 850: Adams Campus ironworker and band saw equipment (approved). - RFP 851: Wisconsin Rapids southwest parking-lot paving — the contractor will grind off the two inches of existing asphalt and repave per the FY27 capital item (approved). - RFP 852: Wisconsin Rapids campus parking-lot lighting upgrade to add light poles and fixtures (approved).
On the paving project, the Chair summarized the scope, saying the contractor will remove existing surface asphalt and replace it with new asphalt to meet the capital plan.
