By contrast, Darwin Goodsell requested a major amendment to retain a second driveway for an auxiliary unit at 933 North 156th Street citing septic constraints and site elevations. Planning staff and public works opposed a second driveway on an arterial frontage and recommended denial based on accessory‑unit code language and traffic/safety concerns. The board voted 5–0 to deny the major amendment.
