Amanda (planning staff) described a 2023 donation of roughly 161 square feet of parkland on NW 181st Street accepted so an owner’s lot would meet the disabled-veteran homestead property-tax-credit lot-size limit. The current owners asked the city to deed that sliver back to reconstitute the original lot; staff said the owners will pay fair-market value and reimburse the city for legal and recording costs.
Staff presented three resolutions: vacating the portion of Greenville Park, approving the purchase agreement and quitclaim deed, and approving a lot-tie agreement to reestablish the parcel. Council closed the public hearing and approved all three resolutions by recorded votes of five to zero.
There were no public speakers at the podium and staff reported no outstanding concerns; the actions were procedural and reflected staff recommendation for approval.
