South Charleston council approves fuel-system contract and finances three garbage trucks

The South Charleston City Council voted to approve two public-works purchases during its meeting.

First, the council approved the finance committee’s recommendation to award a sole-source contract for a fuel supply system to Plan Service Inc. for $18,663.32 to be paid from fiscal year 2026 funds in the student department line items.
