Trustees voted to award the Graceland Kings sidewalk improvement contract to TCD Concrete Working Inc. for $18,040 as part of the village sidewalk program. The work continues a multi-year effort to address trip hazards and sidewalk maintenance.
The board also awarded the fiscal year 2027 road program contract to Peter Baker & Sons Company for $424,454.48. Staff said bids were opened on March 10 and reviewed by Gabel Hamilton to ensure compliance with specifications; Peter Baker & Sons submitted the lowest qualified bid and has previously worked for the village. Both motions carried on roll-call votes.
Trustees said the awards reflect competitive bidding and are consistent with the village’s capital program.
