During the meeting, Commissioner Nuome introduced legislation and two resolutions for consideration at future meetings.
The ordinance would authorize the port to amend Task Order 6 and create Task Order 6A with Infinity Engineering to add engineering and design services for the LGP rail extension and to amend the port’s five‑year capital improvement plan to include the additional 11‑mile rail CAD survey scope. Commissioner Nuome presented the ordinance as an introduction; no vote or final action was taken at the meeting.
Commissioner Nuome also introduced a resolution authorizing the port to enter into agreements with Enterprise FM Trust and Enterprise Fleet Management, Inc. for acquisition, maintenance, management, disposal and financing of port fleet vehicles. A separate resolution was introduced to adopt revisions to the port’s operations policies and procedures concerning service animals.
Clerk’s announcements during the same agenda item noted that two items (B and C) were withdrawn and item D was deferred because Miss McCarti was absent. Introductions were recorded for later consideration; no ordinances were adopted at this session.
