The Solon Springs School District board approved a series of routine personnel and governance items and then moved into closed session.
On motions called by the chair, the board voted to hire two coaches who had been discussed at prior meetings and to accept a donation of yarn and sewing supplies from a donor listed as Michelle. The board approved multiple start-college-now/dual-credit applications (with one class excluded as previously discussed).
The board also named Leanne to continue as the district’s representative and delegate to NWSA and NSDT and identified Gary as a representative for related events. The board approved a newly drafted superintendent job description to align the written job description with board policy.
Finally, the board moved and seconded to enter closed session; the motion carried and the meeting proceeded into closed session.
The meeting record does not list individual vote tallies or named movers/seconders for the motions; minutes record the motions as carried.
