Plan Commission approves sign and sidewalk‑cafe requests, forwards rezoning and housing plan to the council

- Redtail Ridge Phase 3 rezoning: Staff recommended approval of findings of fact and forwarding the rezoning from Planned Unit Development‑General to standard zoning districts to the Common Council with a deferred effective date contingent on final plat approval, a developer agreement and a comprehensive stormwater management plan; the commission voted to recommend approval.
- Housing Action Plan: The commission voted unanimously to recommend that the Common Council approve the Housing Action Plan addressing affordability in Middleton.
No controversial final actions were taken on the Culver’s conditional‑use request or the data‑center moratorium draft; both items require further staff work and return to the commission.
