Fisher noted the prior agreement expired Dec. 31, 2025, and that the concession operator, identified in the discussion as Casey of Performance Locker Inc., keeps rentals affordable and is expanding equipment beyond kayaks and canoes. The contract retains a modest rental-site fee ($100 per month in staff notes) and aims to preserve low-cost recreation while ensuring compliance with city standards.
Next steps: staff will finalize the revised agreement with the added sign-ordinance language and publish the contract for execution.
