Alderman Kaine asked whether the trunking radios would be compatible with Knox County emergency communications; Will Wy responded that the radios are encrypted and will work with the town’s current radios and trunking system, with encryption and trunking included in the quoted price. The board approved the purchase by voice vote.
Staff will complete procurement through the cooperative purchasing method and issue the order to the selected vendor.
