Board endorses request for county funding for well interconnection; renews Honeywell contract

Separately, the board approved renewal of the Honeywell Building Solutions contract. Staff said the renewal includes the Forge preventive-software module and removed boiler services at the elementary school; despite a 5 percent annual price adjustment, staff said the renewal represents roughly an $80,000 savings compared with the 2020 contract.
What’s next: Facilities staff will take GPR quotes to the board of supervisors, seek county approval for the locating work, then finalize RFP language and publish the RFP after board review. Honeywell work will proceed under the renewed contract terms.
