Seaford resident urges reminder to security drivers after near‑miss on Marilyn Drive

Francis Senobio, a resident of Marilyn Drive, told the board that while he appreciates high‑school seniors who park on his street, he has a safety concern about security vehicles using the road as a cut‑through.
"They speed. I was almost hit last spring when they blow stop signs," Senobio said, asking the district to remind security drivers to obey traffic laws near homes with young children. He said neighbors have discussed the issue and urged the district to raise it at a security meeting.
Board members thanked Senobio for the compliment to students and for raising the concern and said the matter would be addressed; Senobio was invited to follow up with the district clerk’s office if he does not see improvement.
