Dr. Mingle praised Tua’s leadership at Central and acknowledged that leadership transitions can cause uncertainty, saying the process is designed to be thorough and to include stakeholder input through surveys and optional in-person feedback for staff and families.
The transfer was included in a broader consent motion that the board moved and approved by roll-call vote during the meeting; the consent agenda covered multiple items (A1; B1–B8; C1–C14) and passed with recorded yes votes from board members present.
What happens next: the administration will post the Central principal position March 24, run a multi-stage search with student and staff input, and expect to present a finalist recommendation for board action on May 11.
