The Brookline School Board voted to accept two personnel departures during its March 25 meeting. The board accepted the resignation of Andrea Hatch, a fourth-grade teacher at Captain Samuel Douglas Academy, effective June 30, 2026. A motion to accept Hatch’s letter was moved, seconded and approved by the board.
The board also accepted the resignation/retirement of Jennifer Dolliff, who served as the district’s special-education administrator, effective June 30, 2026. Dolliff’s letter cited a desire to retire and offered assistance with a transition; the board accepted her resignation with expressions of regret and thanks.
Board members spoke in appreciation of both staff members’ service; one member said the district will “miss Mrs. Hatch very much” and described Dolliff’s contributions to programs supporting students with diverse learning needs. There were no recorded votes in opposition.
