Board approves hires and resignations, accepts donations and purchases property for building‑trades project

The board accepted a $3,499 donation from the Little League baseball program to purchase a pitching machine for the Fountain Central baseball team and a $5,000 donation from a youth basketball program to support boys basketball fundraising and program expenses.
Trustees also approved a purchase agreement for property at 112 East 7th Street in Petersburg, Indiana, for $14,000 to be used by the building trades program as the site of the 2026–27 student‑built home project and authorized the superintendent and board president to execute closing documents.
Other routine items approved included readvertising the sale of a surplus corporation vehicle after no acceptable bids and approving a fifth‑grade student council fundraiser with a $300 goal.
