Board approves five-year facilities-management contract with Perfections Group

District staff said the contract had been reviewed and approved by board attorney Michelle Cooper. A board member praised the arrangement for delivering cost savings and for Perfections Group’s treatment of employees after a prior transition. "We are very pleased with the direction that we're even heading every day," the member said, describing operational savings and employee outcomes.
Perfections Group will begin work in 2026 under the contract staff presented; the board moved, seconded and approved the agreement by voice vote. Staff said the firm handles roofing, HVAC and engineering oversight under the district’s model and that the contract is a key part of district operations and cost management.
The board asked that staff continue oversight and return with recalculated costs for years four and five as the scope becomes clearer when new schools open. The contract approval authorizes district staff to finalize terms and implement the vendor model under board oversight.
