Parent tells Edison board of repeated administrative errors, says she will bring documents monthly

A parent, Wendell Castles, told the Edison Township Board of Education during public comment that she will attend each month to present documentation alleging repeated administrative errors at south-side schools, including voided AP exams for proctoring errors, incorrect transcripts and denials of 504 accommodations.
"I've met with administration. I've reached out to some board members. I'm going to be at every board meeting and I'm going to be discussing some of the violations that have occurred on the south side," the speaker said, adding she has tapes and tangible evidence and that the issues have caused students to lose scholarship opportunities.
Board members and administrators did not adjudicate the allegations at the meeting. Administration representatives said they have met with the commenter previously and that the district would need to review documentation as part of any formal response. The commenter said prior explanations were described to parents as "miscommunication," and she said she would continue to bring specific examples of errors (she cited "11 errors on a report card" and "four errors on a transcript").
The board chair limited public comment time but did not otherwise rule on the substance. No formal investigation outcome or timeline was announced on the record; the commenter said she will return with additional documentation at future meetings.
