Rocklin Unified board introduces new administrators as schools prepare to open

Trustees of the Rocklin Unified School District on Monday introduced four new administrators as the district prepares to open the 25-26 school year.

Greg Snider was presented as the district’s new director of personnel services. Snider, who served in San Juan Unified and most recently as principal at Dell Campo High School, said he was "super excited" to be working in the community where his family lives and looks forward to supporting staff and student achievement.

Olivia Khan was introduced as the new principal of Parker Whitney Elementary School. Khan described a background in instructional leadership, MTSS implementation and English-learner programs and said she was "thrilled to be here" and attracted to the district’s collaborative leadership culture.

Trustees also welcomed PJ to the Rocklin High School administrative team and introduced Dr. Bonnie Robbins as an assistant principal. Board members highlighted the administrators’ district experience and their backgrounds in student support, staff development and English-learner programming.

Superintendent Stock used the introductions to underscore the district’s readiness for the coming year. Stock reported that maintenance, grounds and operations, technology services, human resources and fiscal teams had worked together and that the district had replaced about 151 HVAC units this spring and summer as part of a $58 million capital facilities project. Stock also described painting and other site work at several campuses and praised a district back-to-school fair that provided backpacks and supplies to families.

"We are ready for the kids when they show up," Stock said, thanking staff and volunteers.

The board moved on after the introductions to the consent calendar and the evening’s business.
