AC Transit warns Albany of possible service cuts if new funding not secured

Lau said there were no specific line-reduction proposals at the time but that AC Transit staff were reviewing all lines and preparing options for the board. He invited Albany residents to an open house to review proposed options and to attend the June 10 board meeting in person or via Zoom.
No council action was requested or taken on AC Transit matters during the meeting; the item was delivered as public comment to inform the council and residents about the agency's pending decision.
