Community Hope seeks CDBG support for Hope for Veterans employment specialist

One member noted prior experience with Community Hope and its participation in township events, another praised the organization’s workforce development focus, and a fellow committee member recounted a family veteran’s struggles to underscore the local need. The committee opened and closed public comment on the application with no speakers stepping forward.
Kayla was thanked and told she could remain in the room or leave. The presentation served as the township’s public‑commentary review of the CDBG application; committee members indicated their support but did not vote on a specific municipal funding commitment at the Feb. 24 meeting. Any municipal endorsement or application submission will follow established CDBG application procedures and staff review.
