The Pleasant Hill City Civic Action Commission introduced Sherice Longa at its April 1 meeting and welcomed her to the commission.
Longa spoke briefly about her family and volunteer background, saying she has lived in Pleasant Hill for four years and looks forward to helping with the summer concert series and community service efforts. She told the commission she moved to Pleasant Hill with her husband and daughter and has worked in the county.
Chair Barb and other commissioners offered welcomes and highlighted the commission’s upcoming activities, including the spring service pilot, concert planning and the city’s Earth Day events. The City Council will officially introduce Longa at its April 20 meeting, which commissioners encouraged members to attend.
Next steps: Longa will participate in subcommittee work and the commission’s April–May planning activities.
