The Pleasant Hill City Civic Action Commission reported on April 1 that the 2026 summer concert sponsorship drive has secured about $16,500, leaving an estimated $3,500 shortfall ahead of print and marketing deadlines.
Jeff, the city’s community relations manager, told commissioners: "We are $3,500 short of our goal." Commissioners described several active leads — local youth sports (I9 Sports), dealership groups and a recent "super fan" sponsorship from an LGBTQ-affiliated donor — and discussed options for combining smaller sponsors to fill larger visible packages.
The commission set an internal sponsor deadline of April 15 to meet the city Outlook marketing inclusion, with printer drafts due April 17. Commissioners also reviewed logistics: additional feather banners for family fun zones require extra lead time and a separate vendor; street banners are scheduled for installation the first week of May.
Committees agreed to continue outreach to fill remaining sponsorship slots and to collect sponsor logos and artwork promptly so marketing and production can meet the printer deadlines.
Next steps: committee members will continue sponsor outreach, consolidate logos for the April 15 Outlook run and confirm banner orders to meet production lead times.
