Council approves tax-advance resolution and clears liquor-permit transfer

On a separate item, the clerk read an economic-development transfer of a liquor permit (AV Finley LLC to RAM LLC, 827 Goodale Boulevard) for a beverage amenity at a proposed Woodhouse Spa. City Attorney Kazam and Director Kuzam explained the transfer process and confirmed no concerns with the owner-operator. The council moved to not pursue action (i.e., registered no objection), a motion carried by voice vote.
No vetoes, recusals or roll-call no votes were recorded for either item. The meeting recessed briefly and the council proceeded to a work session without further formal actions on the other agenda items.
