The superintendent also reported three resignations: a high-school position (named in the record as Dr. Nice), a middle-school paraprofessional (Mitchell Raider) and Brandon Leatherberry at Washington. The board said it would consider any required actions related to those departures during future business.
The finance review included year-to-date revenue and fund balances. The reporting officer said general fund revenue is down compared with the prior year after accounting for a one-time teacher pay raise and an earlier $200,000 school security grant; the building fund showed revenues roughly flat. The speaker reported total invested balances across several funds at approximately $11,748,000, averaging about 4.1% returns.
