Resolution 0303-2026 No. 6 authorizes the procurement and service agreement with Aqua Water Technologies LLC for chemical supply and equipment service used at pump stations.
Members pressed staff for details about the procurement. A commissioner asked how long the $2.94 million appropriation would last and whether the amount covered only chemicals. Staff replied that the figure represents a two-year total and includes both chemical product and monthly equipment service. "They come out once a month and service all the equipment. We do not own the equipment," staff member Scott said, explaining the vendor also meters outfalls to optimize dosing and reduce downstream issues.
The board asked staff to provide the full contract and a scope-of-work summary. Chairman Farooqi and staff committed to circulating the contract documents after the meeting so commissioners could review the vendor scope and procedures.
The board moved to close the business portion without entering executive session and adjourned after routine motions.
