Trustees praised competitive pricing and moved to approve the work as presented.
A larger bid to replace rooftop HVAC units in freshman areas and adjacent spaces was presented from Samco at $954,000. Board members confirmed warranties (five years) and maintenance expectations and approved the budgeted expenditure. Administration said the bid was about $200,000 less than direct manufacturer pricing and that controls integration had been addressed in prior work.
