Rock County recognizes Neil Pierce for 30 years of public works service

The Rock County Board of Supervisors formally recognized Neil Pierce on March 12 for his 30½ years of service with the Department of Public Works. Supervisors praised Pierce’s mentorship and long record of service; Pierce thanked the county, his family and coworkers and said he appreciated the opportunity to serve.
Board members recounted stories of Pierce’s work, noted multiple promotions through his career and read a resolution honoring his tenure. Pierce said, “I’d just like to take the opportunity to thank the county... and most of all the past and present co-workers because without their support and assistance none of the things we've accomplished would have been possible.” The board approved the recognition by voice vote.
