The notice includes pricing options (labeled Option A and Option B) that allow the court flexibility in award criteria; commissioners discussed fuel-price variability as a key cost factor and noted the county may revisit hauling/fuel bids later in the year.
By statute the county must publish the notice in the newspaper; the court approved publishing the draft and returning bids for later action by the commissioners. Commissioner Head moved to approve the bid notice; Commissioner Horton seconded the motion and the court approved it by voice vote.
