Sheriff: TCOLE audit of Mills County Sheriff's Office found no findings

"Our report will have no findings in it at all," Sheriff Jones said, praising staff work and singling out a staff member named Anthony for his efforts. Commissioners thanked the sheriff for the report and asked clarifying questions about recordkeeping and training. Jones said the audit covered files maintained before his tenure as well as records for current staff.
The sheriff also noted recent changes in TCOLE oversight and that the commission has increased auditing activity following its own sunset review; he characterized the local audit as successful.
