Mayville — The Public Safety Committee recommended that the Common Council approve moving Norma Rodriguez’s class A fermented‑malt beverage and class A cider license to her new Main Street premises.
Staff explained that Wisconsin liquor licenses are specific to a premise, so Rodriguez must obtain the license at the new address. Once council approves the transfer, Rodriguez will relinquish the license tied to her former location. Committee members confirmed the existing downtown building houses a separate bar at the lower level and that two licenses may operate in the same building under separate business entities.
The committee voted to recommend the liquor‑license move to the council by voice vote.
Council enactment is required before the license transfer becomes effective.
