Superintendent praises staff, notes BHS Twilight Track Meet and upcoming events
Summary

Dr. Bellow said the BHS Twilight Track Meet "was run very well," noting the event went smoothly despite ongoing track renovations and that coaches appreciated having the meet back on the new surface. He noted elementary parent–teacher conferences were scheduled for the evening and the following Thursday and reminded the board that spring break is next week.
The superintendent also previewed several student events: a middle-school spring dance set for March 27 and a districtwide SWAT fundraising week scheduled for March 30 through April 3, which will combine efforts across all three schools.
On staff coverage, Dr. Bellow described multiple instances of employees filling gaps across the district, saying, "people are just willing to step in and hey I can help with that or hey I'm willing to help with that," and noted he had been meeting with new teachers to check in on their experience. He also offered continuing-education credit materials to board members before they left the meeting and congratulated the boys basketball team on reaching the state tournament.
The superintendent's remarks concluded the informational portion of the agenda; the board then adjourned.
