EDC budget amendment: The commission approved an amendment to the Economic Development Corporation (EDC) FY2025–26 budget to add a communications/marketing specialist position, increasing salary and benefits by $75,000 to be funded from the EDC fund balance. Grants and interlocal agreement: Commissioners authorized staff to submit and accept grant applications for the police department (LEPA grant 5904101 and a regular grant program 5904201) and approved an interlocal purchasing agreement to participate in the TASBY Energy Cooperative, authorizing the finance director to enter contracts when rates are favorable. Other actions: The commission approved a second/final reading of a conditional use permit for retail alcohol sales at a specified lot, and approved appointments and removals for the Keep San Beautiful board as presented by staff.
