Graven Elementary outlines Phase 2 projects under San Antonio ISD 2020 bond

"Phase two is officially underway," the presenter said, outlining plans for a new library and art lab, "new spaces for a music lab and mariachi room," a renovated school kitchen and cafeteria, a new playground, new Pre-K classrooms, administrative and support offices, and additional landscaping across the site.
The presenter described Phase 1 upgrades as including a brand-new academic building, renovated classrooms and temporary administrative spaces in Building F, and said teachers, students and staff are already using the improved learning environments and support spaces. Construction for Phase 2 is expected to be completed in July 2027, the presenter said.
The presenter thanked voters for approving the 2020 bond, adding that similar enhancements are taking place across San Antonio ISD because of the measure. No formal board action or vote was recorded in the remarks.
