The Bellevue Planning Commission on March 26 approved a small subdivision plat submitted by Ron Cassart and forwarded the item to the Bellevue City Council for a public hearing on April 21, 2026.
Staff described the request as a platting of tax lots in the northeast one-quarter of Section 20, Township 14 North Range 13 East of the sixth principal meridian, Sarpy County, and noted that the application included requests for waivers to subdivision regulations related to excessive depth-to-width ratios and flaglots. Staff reported no updates to the application at the hearing.
Commissioner Ackley moved to approve the application “based upon a lack of perceived negative impact upon the surrounding neighborhood and conformance with the comprehensive plan,” and Commissioner Taylor Jones seconded. The commission voted unanimously to carry the motion. The commission recorded that the approved item will appear on the City Council agenda for a public hearing on April 21, 2026.
No public testimony was offered during the consent-item portion of the meeting. The commission’s approval sends the subdivision and the requested waivers to the next step in the review process: the city council public hearing and decision.
