The board approved the consent agenda (personnel, treasurer’s report, invoices, and minutes) by a 5‑0 roll call. Trustees then voted 5‑0 to adopt the middle‑school math curriculum as presented, following a second reading at the February meeting.
On finance items, the board approved student fees for 2026–27, noting no major fee changes overall; the administration advised that paid‑rider bus fees will be adjusted to reflect any increase in the district’s transportation contract (Cook Transportation was acquired by First Student). The motion to approve fees passed 5‑0.
Facilities and procurement actions included awarding the 2026–2030 grass‑cutting services contract to Gileio Landscape (lowest responsible bidder) and approving three summer capital project packages (BP1 general trades to D. Kersy; BP2 HVAC to FE Moran; BP3 electrical to Prospect Electric). Each award passed 5‑0 and Nicholas & Associates was assigned as construction manager for the projects; several optional alternates were rejected and deferred for future consideration.
Board members indicated support for moving forward with the capital projects and for additional budgetary review where alternates were rejected. No dissenting votes were recorded on these action items.
