"We do have an intra governmental movement of the funds," Swinson said, adding the clerk's office will add a "triple check" step to the next budget cycle to prevent similar errors.
The board then approved Resolution 2603 CL02, a second intra‑departmental amendment to move $5,000 within the county attorney capital and operating lines to purchase two iPads intended for exhibit display in the courtroom. Swinson said the iPads will work with a courtroom system to display trial exhibits.
Both amendments were opened for public hearing; no members of the public spoke. Commissioner Tolman moved to approve Resolution 2603 CL01; Commissioner Richards seconded. Commissioner Slaughter moved the second amendment; it was seconded by Commissioner Jones. All votes were recorded as in favor.
